The consolidated data for the first half of 2026 and the data gathered up to October \u2013 collected by HBenchmark on behalf of Federalberghi VCO \u2013 confirm the tourist appeal of the Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta and Ossola valleys region, and the resilience of its accommodation businesses.

The local press has picked up on the main indicators that emerged from the analysis of the representative sample of facilities monitored.

Here they are in summary:

First Half 2026 (Consolidated)
\u2013 Stable employment: 70% (in line with the 70.8% figure for 2025).
\u2013 Growing profitability: Average revenue per room rises to \u20ac240.8 (+\u20ac13 compared to 2025).

Prospects July \u2013 October 2026 (on-book data as at 10 July)
\u2013 Employment already secured: 59.2% (up 1.5 percentage points on last year).
\u2013 Destinations beyond the summer: The trend towards a longer tourist season is becoming more established, with bookings rising by +14.9% in September and by +30% in October.

The destination continues to be popular with both domestic and international tourism: Germany remains the main market, immediately followed by Italy, and rounding off the top list of nationalities are the United States, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, and Austria.<\/p>\n
