The data provided by HBenchmark to the Cortina Hoteliers Association – presented at the event ‘Cortina 2026 and beyond: how to transform the Olympic experience into a lasting legacy for hospitality?’ on April 24th – tell a significant story: from 2018/19 to 2024/25, the average winter occupancy rate rose from 57.6%to 63.8%, while summer recorded even better performance, reaching 72.2% last year.

More than nine months before the start of the Olympics, tourist demand is already showing very strong signs: for the competition days, from 6 to 22 February, over 55% of the total room availability in Cortina has already been booked.
