According to HBenchmark’s sample of over 3,000 rooms, the average occupancy rate prior to the long weekend of 25–28 April was 78%, with 84% on Friday night.

Occupancy rates remained high even during the major trade fairs in April: around 80.4%, with peaks of 97% and 93% during Exposanità and the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
