North East concerned about German market crisis

All sectors are feeling the effects of German economic instability, and of course, tourism in the North East is also facing a decline in visitors from Germany.

This was discussed by Enrico Guerin, president of Federalberghi Confcommercio of Friuli Venezia Giulia, who in the interview below reported how 2024 has not been an easy year for the Upper Adriatic, forced to contend with the impact of the German crisis.

However, the President recalls, to help hoteliers there is HBenchmark, a platform that, thanks to the participation of an ever-increasing number of establishments, makes real-time data for each location available, on which to base analyses and strategies.

Guerrin also specifies how the drop in Germany was offset by an increase in flows from Austria and Eastern Europe.
