HBenchmark is the leading platform in Italy for data intelligence in the hospitality sector. We are looking for a Data & Analytics Engineer to strengthen the project team HBI – Hospitality Business Intelligence.

HBI represents the new frontier of consulting in the tourism sector: an advanced platform that supports hoteliers, tour operators and destinations in defining data-driven strategies to optimise performance and consolidate their market presence.

The individual will join a dynamic and innovative team, contributing to the development of advanced, scalable, and high strategic value analytics solutions.

Main responsibilities

● Design and develop dashboard, report and advanced features using Microsoft Power BI.

To realise Efficient and scalable data pipelines, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance.

Integrate and normalise data from external sources (API, database, third-party systems).

Build Automated reporting templates with strong attention to data quality, data governance, and data visualisation.

Collaborate on the development of Analytical and predictive models, applying techniques of data science to support business decisions.

● Use tools AI Copilot to improve data interaction, exploration, and interpretation.

● To work autonomously on complex projects, collaborating with product, consulting, and development teams.

Requirements

● Experience in development data pipeline, ETL and data integration processes.

● Excellent knowledge of tools Business Intelligence and data visualisation (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar).

● Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Good knowledge of the language Python for data analysis, automation, and the development of analytical models.

● Skills in Data Science, statistics and predictive analysis (forecasting, clustering, performance models, etc.).

● Ability to work autonomously, managing tasks and projects end-to-end.

● Previous experience in development is welcome API and integrations with external services.

Attitude towards Problem-solving and a strong results-oriented approach.
