The Veneto tourism sector continues to be in robust health, registering significant growth both in terms of results and in perspective.

According to figures released by Federalberghi Veneto, based on surveys carried out by the Veneto Regional Statistics Office, the first five months of 2026 saw a 4.6% increase in arrivals and a 7.1% rise in overnight stays, exceeding 19.2 million. The sector was driven primarily by the month of May (a 19.2% increase in overnight stays compared with 2025) and international visitors (up 11.7%), whilst the domestic market remained broadly stable.

The prospects for the current summer season, supported by data collection from HBenchmark based on bookings already acquired, highlight a positive trend across most regional sectors.

The performance of the Mountain sector stands out in particular, recording the region’s strongest growth at +15.9%. There are also very encouraging signs from the cities of art (+8%), Lake Garda (+4.4%) and the seaside resort sector (+4.1%).
