Rimini 2026: confirmed bookings for July stand at 85%, whilst those secured for August are already close to 75%, representing an increase compared with 2025

The data processed by HBenchmark and published by Visit Rimini describe a growing summer 2026 for the destination, supported by a rich events calendar and the increase in passengers at the “Federico Fellini” airport.

July It ended with an average occupancy rate of 84.9%, up 1.1 percentage points from the 83.8% recorded in the same month of 2025. City events were the main drivers of room occupancy: the Fidesm Championships (4–5 July) pushed occupancy to peaks of 91%, the Cartoon Club pushed it above 85% in the middle of the month, whilst Rimini Summer Pride and Romagna Wow kept it above 80% at the end of July.

Per August, ,’employment already secured certified to 74,7%, up by 2.1 points compared with the 72.6% recorded on the same date in 2025.

The destination is aiming to exceed the 87.8% figure at which the month closed last year, banking on last-minute bookings that are expected to push occupancy above 90% during the mid-August period.

The forecasts for the second half of the month are also favourable, boosted by the Rimini Meeting and the visit of Pope Leo XIV.

To complete the picture, the growing internationalisation of the destination, favoured by the expansion of the pool of foreign visitors linked to the growth in passengers at the Fellini airport.
