Brescian tourism, summer on the rise between Garda and Iseo: HBenchmark findings for Visit Brescia

The data processed by HBenchmark For Visit Brescia They draw an extremely positive balance for the 2026 summer season, highlighting high employment rates on Lake Garda in Brescia and on the Sebino.

Despite the impact of the cost of living on visitors’ outgoings, the surveys show sustained demand and the consolidation of key international markets for the entire province.

The key points emerging from the data analysis

  • Garda bresciana (85.5%): Between March and September, the average employment reached 100%.’85,5% (+3.4 percentage points compared to the previous year), reaching peaks of 94% in July and August and by maintaining the 93% in the first twenty days of September. In Sirmione, the British market leads the way, being the first nationality with 20% entries.
  • Sebino and Lake Iseo (82.6%): The average employment rate stood at’82,6% (+3.4 points), reaching 85% in the June-August quarter. In addition to the predominance of Italians and Germans, there is also a 4% presence of Norwegian tourists.
  • Strategic objectives: As highlighted by President Eugenio Massetti and CEO Graziano Pennacchio, the challenge for the territory now focuses on extending seasonality, enhancing experiences with high added value, and targeting markets outside the EU (especially the USA and Northern Europe).
