Pisa, autumn prospects are growing: employment increases in September and October

The analysis of the tourist forecasts for the city of Pisa resumed by The Tirreno highlights extremely positive signs for the autumn season, driven by a substantial increase in the hotel occupancy already achieved.

The surveys, prepared by the platform HBenchmark on a sample of city accommodation facilities, they confirm the progressive expansion of seasonality, supported by both the constant attraction of international flows and the contribution of hiking and cruise traffic.

The forecast trends for autumn

  • September up (87.7%): As of September 24, the occupancy rate for rooms for the month of September reached 90%.’87,7%, registering an increase of 1.2 percentage points compared to the same period in 2025.
  • Strong acceleration for October (+7.7 percentage points): The forecasts for October show an even more marked increase, with already acquired employment equal to 56,8% and a leap forward of 7.7 percentage points compared to the previous year.

The positive trend of the coming months will also be boosted by the impact of the nearby ports, with an estimated arrival of about 40,000 cruise passengers visiting the city between October and November.

The data confirm that the predictive analysis provided by HBenchmark represents an essential tool for monitoring the consolidation of the shoulder months in real time and supporting the territory’s reception strategies.
