Summer 2024 saw significant growth in the luxury segment of the hotel sector in Cortina (+28.1% compared to last year); this trend had already been noted by HBenchmark in its mid-season analyses.

This increase is mainly due to foreign tourism, which over the last 4 months has been comprised of: the United States at 20.6%; France at 5.9%; the United Kingdom at 3.6%; South Korea and Germany both at 2.9%; followed by Canada, Brazil, Taiwan, Thailand, China, Japan, and New Zealand.

The highest spending employees were the Americans, who for 75% chose high-end establishments, while only 25% chose to stay in lower-category hotels; conversely, the Italians chose to stay in lower-category hotels.

La stagione estiva ha premiato tutta la Conca, infatti il tasso di occupazione medio si è attestato oltre l’80% (+15,1% rispetto al 2023), con il picco in agosto dove si è sfiorato il sold out con il 96% di presenze complessive nel lungo weekend di Ferragosto.
