The photographic evidence from Gabicce, highlighted by the analysis of tourist flows within the Gabicce H-DID Observatory (Gabicce Hotel Association Welcome to Gabicce, Visit Gabicce Foundation and HBenchmark with the support of Riviera Banca), shows that the start of the season got off to a slow start due to bad weather and the unfavourable timing of Republic Day, resulting in a -4.4 percentage point decrease compared to 2023 in the period 1 May – 11 June 2024. However, the drop in occupancy did not halt the growth in the profitability of establishments, which saw an increase in room revenue for the aforementioned period.

Looking ahead, thanks to HBenchmark's analysis, we can see that for the period of 12 June – 30 September 2024, occupancy is growing, particularly in the month of June.
