With the end of July now behind us, it's time for a review. Data processed by HBenchmark for the Jesolo Hotel Association shows that July and August are close to 2023 performance levels, with September showing a slight increase. The gap from the early summer months (May and June) is also progressively closing.

Specifically:

• for the period from 1 May to 31 July, the average workforce stood at 70%;
• For August and September, employment is growing and results are expected to be on par with 2023.

As for foreign tourists, they come mainly from Austria, which accounts for around 27% of international bookings, and from Germany, with around 18%. Eastern Europe is also growing (accounting for around 10 per cent of bookings), with 3 per cent coming from Hungary, but many tourists also arrive from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Ukraine.
