Rimini: boom in bookings from Poland and Hungary for August and September

With only a few days to go until August, it can be stated that the 2024 season, based on the data, is recording higher values than that of 2023.

From the sample present on HBenchmark of 70 structures, it is clear that the current summer is particularly positive for Rimini tourism:

  • The consolidated figures for July show an 80% occupancy rate (+2 percentage points compared with 2023), with growing interest in seaside resorts in Eastern European countries in addition to the usual destinations (including Germany, Switzerland and France).
  • As regards the figures for August, there was a 5-point increase compared with 2023, with an employment rate of approximately 65.1%.
  • As Carasso points out, September is increasingly becoming a holiday month, thanks in part to the many events taking place across the region, which have already seen a 40% occupancy rate.
