On 13 May 2025, the event took place in Bellinzona Hospitality Industry Update Q1/Q2 organised by NLH | Next Level Hospitality, which was attended by over 80 hoteliers, representatives of institutions, companies and tourism professionals to discuss data, trends and visions for the future of hospitality in Ticino.

Among the invited speakers were Barbara Donzelli, Head of Business Development at HBenchmark and Gabriels Viskars, Project Manager responsible for the HBenchmark project in Ticino, who provided the audience with an’Detailed analysis of the destination's tourism performance, including both a snapshot of consolidated data for Q1 2025 and an overview of prospective data for the summer season.

The main findings of the analysis, based on a champion across 88 accommodation facilities spread throughout the regions of Lugano, Locarno and Ascona, Bellinzona and Valleys, and finally Mendrisiotto, for a total of 3,514 rooms
