HBenchmark recently visited Bormio to present the latest summer and winter tourism trends to accommodation facilities. The analysis was based on various KPIs developed by HB, examining aspects such as tourist nationalities, sales channels, and future projections.

Notably, out of a sample of 25 establishments (around 20% of the total in the area), as many as 17 already have bookings for summer 2025. Since the start of the year, average occupancy in the Bormio area has reached 72.31%, a significant increase compared with the last two years, accompanied by a rise in the average rate of €4.60.

The outlook for the future is equally positive, with a 5% increase in monthly employment compared with the previous year. Specifically, employment for December is forecast at 47%, an increase of 8 percentage points compared with 2022.
