The international visibility of the Winter Games continues to generate a strongly positive impact on tourism in Cortina d’Ampezzo, which is preparing for a summer season characterised by a significant increase in visitor numbers.

The analysis of booking data indicates an average room occupancy rate for the next quarter close to 60%, marking a growth of 9 percentage points compared with the same period last year. The figures are driven by the strong international component, with over 60% of visitors coming from abroad and increasing visitor numbers not only from Europe but also from long-haul markets such as the United States and Asia.

The flows concentrate particularly around the area's major summer events, for which occupancy rates in facilities are already peaking between 70% and 80%. The excellent trend in bookings also extends to September, which is already showing an increase in the occupancy rate of 12% compared to the previous historical data, confirming the destination's growing capacity to extend its season.
