The analysis of tourist flows in the Canton of Ticino for the first four months of 2026 highlights a consolidation of demand, as shown by the data processed by the Tourism Observatory (O-Tur) of the Institute of Economic Research (IRE) at USI Università della Svizzera italiana.

Thanks to the detection of ‘on-the-books’ data, HBenchmark made it possible to anticipate market trends for April: bookings at the end of March already showed an average acquired occupancy of 45.1%, an increase of +4.9 percentage points compared to the same period of the previous year.
