HBenchmark at BTO 2026: “Data, vision, territory: this is how the future of Open Air is built”

What if, instead of looking for answers among the dashboards, the data were the ones that suggested the next move?

This is the direction that AI agents are heading towards. It is also one of the topics that Lia Dal Cappello, Project & Account Manager for the Open Air sector at HBenchmark, will bring to BTO – Be Travel Onlife in the ‘Open Air Tribes’ panel. The eighteenth edition of the event dedicated to digital tourism and innovation takes place on November 10 and 11 at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence.

From data to the right questions

Lia will draw on the data from the 2026 season of the Faita Toscana champion, including the Isola d’Elba region, the result of a collaboration between HBenchmark and Faita Federcamping. It will show how occupancy, prices, and pickup change for each date, product, and market.

Having the data, however, is not enough: you need to know what questions to ask.

The AI agents of OpenAir-AI Insight

The AI agents of OpenAir-AI Insight They observe the structure and composition of the product and relate it to price and occupancy. Then they suggest a decision: for example, gradually raising the prices when sales exceed the market price but at a lower price.

The value lies not in having more dashboards, but in transforming the data already available into concrete, understandable, and timely recommendations.

The panel's speakers

  • Alberto Granzotto, President of Faita Federcamping
  • Enrico Paoli, Director of Faita Federcamping Tuscany
  • Alessandro Tortelli, Scientific Director of the Florence Tourism Studies Center
