The conference “Measuring the new era of tourism: surveying open-air sector flows for the 2025 season”, held at TTG Rimini, was an important moment of discussion on the value of reliable and scientifically based data to understand the real dynamics and trends that characterise the open-air sector.

The speeches by Alberto Granzotto (National President FAITA Federcamping), Valeria Minghetti (Head of Research Area CISET) and Francesco Traverso (CEO & Co-Founder of HBenchmark) reiterated a fundamental concept: today more than ever, rigorous analysis, based on scientific methods and interpreted with expertise, is needed to get a real pulse on the sector's performance.

In a context where fragmented news or distorted interpretations often circulate, having solid data means being in control: being able to understand the true trends of the season, anticipate phenomena, and respond to media narratives with objective evidence.

Through the joint work of FAITA Federcamping, CISET – Ca’ Foscari University, and HBenchmark, a true culture of measurement is consolidated, based on advanced analytical tools that allow for real-time reading of market dynamics and conscious guidance of operators' decisions.
